A lot has changed in the past year or two because of COVID-19, but things are beginning to go back to normal. With our guide, you're guaranteed to have a great time at Disneyland no matter what happens.

As one of the craziest places on Earth, it's crucial to have a plan when visiting Disneyland. That's where we come in! So without further ado, here are our suggestions to help you make the most of your time at Disneyland.

Get your tickets online

It's typically best to buy your tickets in advance, and you will still require a valid park ticket as well as a park reservation prior to visiting. By doing this, it helps Disneyland control the number of people in the parks at one time and keep physical distancing possible. Did you know that you could save money on Disneyland tickets by purchasing them through Undercover Tourist? To make sure there's availability for the dates you want, create your Disneyland park reservations right after getting your ticket purchase confirmation. When making those all-important reservations ,you'll need to figure out which particular park interests you most for each day of your visit . If circumstances should allow for some flexible travel between parks during your stay (hopefully!), then when making each day's individual plans ,you'll first decide which remarkable place sounds like fun to explore next.

Make sure to plan your trip during a good season!

The best time to visit Disneyland depends on a variety of factors, including holidays, school schedules, and the number of tourists in the area. Use this chart to help you plan your trip so you can make the most of your time at Disneyland.

You can reserve your spot up to two months ahead. Here are two other resources that may help you plan your visit: Disneyland Park Availability Calendar - Use this calendar to check which park is open on the day you want to go (before buying or reserving anything).

Find A Perfect Room For Your Upcoming Trip To Disneyland

To enjoy the Disneyland experience to its fullest extent, book a room at one of the three on-site hotels - Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel, or Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. All three are designed with unique style and feature wonderful Disney details (and you can save by booking directly with them!). Registered hotel guests may take advantage of Extra Magic Hour each day of their stay during regular park hours. Extra Magic Hour allows entrance into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park one hour before regular opening time. This will help avoid long wait times for popular rides.

Staying at Disney's Royal Californian Hotel has its perks, one of which is a private entrance to Disney California Adventure. If you're looking to park hop, it's best to start your day here.

If You Can't Stay In Disneyland, Try To Remain Near It

If you're looking to save some money on your Disneyland trip, staying at an off-site hotel may be a good option for you. Some of these hotels are actually closer to the parks than on-site options, with some less than a 10 minute walk from Esplanade, which links Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventures gates. Another perk of staying off site is that you don't have to register at Disneyland if you live close by, and won't waste time in the parking lot or walking from there to the actual parks.

Don't Stress In The Security Line

The best way to get through security quickly is by being prepared. Bring only what you need for the day in a bag with as few pockets and zippers as possible. Make sure all your belongings are visible to the security guard. Be ready to put your keys, phone, money, and any metal objects in your pocket on the table at the scanner. If you have a belt, for example, that will set off the alarm, take it off and put it in a bag temporarily.

Don't forget to leave any objects that are prohibited in the park, such as selfie sticks, loose ice, whistles, pocket knives, balls and zip ties out of your baggage before you go. It's not only inconvenient for park staff but also for other guests when someone forgets what they packed and causes a commotion.

Other than this small tip, you already know everything else you need to plan the perfect Disneyland vacation!
