In the ever-changing world of web design, it's important to stay up-to-date on the latest trends. By knowing what's popular (and forecasted to be popular), you can create a website that provides an amazing user experience and keeps your visitors coming back for more.

Horizontal And Vertical Text

If you're familiar with horizontal texts, then you'll know what vertical texts are. It's when websites have a text that goes down vertically, which can make things a lot more interesting. This trend became popular around 2016 as web designers thought it was a unique and new way to enhance aesthetics. This trend is still going strong and is a great way to mix things up and add more dimension when they look too unoriginal.

A Better Variety of Colors and Illustrations

One way to make your website unique and stand out from the rest is by adding bright colors to your front page. This will make the user's experience more memorable. You can also use different color schemes to direct users' attention to certain areas of importance on your website.

Alternatively, many websites are now ditching simple, minimalistic designs in favor of illustrations. To make your website more memorable, many companies hire illustrators and graphic designers to create one-of-a-kind illustrations that represent their brand. While some brands prefer a muted color palette and minimalistic style, others want to stand out with bright colors and illustrations.

Original Fonts

Hand-drawn fonts give your website an original edge that helps it stand out from the rest. It's a trend that can be used by any type of brand or company, and when misuse. Adding fonts to strategic places help create emphasize certain points while adding a customized font is a small change with  a big impact in terms of originality and developing your website's identity

Use Cinemagraphs

Cinemagraphs are similar to GIFs, but they are created with different intentions in mind. GIFs tend to be lower quality and have been around for longer, while cinemagraphs are shorter but much higher in quality. Cinemagraph first became popularized in 2011 when two artists came together to create a living-photo that looks like a gif but is better quality overall.

Adding cinemagraphs to your website is a great way to add interest and movement. No matter what style you have, you can find or create a cinemagraph that will fit in perfectly and help capture users' attention. Be careful not to use gifs instead of cinemagraphs though- they don't work as well on websites.

Asymmetric Web Design

While this design style may not be as common yet, it's great for creating a completely unique and out-of-the-box experience that will make it memorable - if executed correctly. This design isn't for every brand though. Due to how unconventional it is, an asymmetric web design can look messy if you don't implement it well or  if doesn't match with your brand aesthetic . If done properly however, users will have a lasting impression of the unique design.

In conclusion

Staying on top of web design trends is crucial because they change frequently. Although it can be fun to experiment with different designs, make sure that the final product aligns with your brand's look and feel, as well as appealing to your target audience. Creating a positive user experience should always come first.
